Ronald KOON DISCO & HOUSE – PRODUCER & DJ

Ronald KOON (Good Custard / DISCOnnect / Dresden) is a DJ and producer dedicated to the infectious blend of Disco House, House, and Edit-heavy Classic Disco. Musically influenced by late 90s French electronic music, Ronald first stepped behind the decks in 2007. He later organized the legendary "French Kiss" party series in his hometown with his crew for several years, before increasingly dedicating himself to disco and electronic sounds from the 70s & 80s and starting his own productions.

Ronald's DJ sets are a fusion of classic and contemporary disco and house. This distinctive sound is created by an edit-heavy track selection that seamlessly blends repertoire elements including Jackin', Soulful, Funky, and UK influences. His music is always soulful, exciting, and absolutely dancefloor-driven, never far from the grooves and melodies of the disco era. His own productions are released on the UK label Good Custard and other international Disco & House scene labels.

He is also an integral member of the DISCOnnect collective, which organizes events and curates a monthly DJ podcast. His contagious, dynamic presence behind the decks and his often avant-garde outfits complete the experience on the dancefloor.
